Woodinville sits about half an hour from downtown Seattle and packs more than seventy-five tasting rooms into a handful of walkable districts. That density is the appeal and the trap: it is genuinely possible to plan six stops, and genuinely impossible to enjoy them.
Budget five to seven hours for two wineries
Our planning arithmetic for a two-winery tour: roughly an hour to reach Woodinville depending on the pickup location, an hour and a half at each winery, fifteen minutes in transit between them, and an hour for the return. That lands between five and seven hours — and it is the number most groups are surprised by.
Three wineries is comfortable in a long afternoon. Four is a schedule, not a tour. Since hours drive the cost of the charter, trimming the list usually buys you a better day and a smaller invoice at the same time.
Let the group size pick the vehicle
Some tasting rooms are small, and a party of thirty arriving at once is a problem for them and for you. For larger corporate groups we often split the party across two vehicles visiting different wineries, then bring everyone together for a final stop — it keeps each room comfortable and removes the queue entirely.
- Six or fewer — luxury SUV, easy parking at every tasting room
- Seven to fourteen — Mercedes Sprinter or a 14-passenger limousine
- Fifteen to forty — mini bus, with stops confirmed against each winery's capacity
- Forty plus — coach bus, or two vehicles on split routes
What we need from you
Pickup times and locations, your preferred wineries, how long you want the vehicle, and the head count. With a fleet of 55 vehicles we can accommodate groups of any size — bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, corporate outings — but the tasting rooms cannot, so the winery list is worth settling early.
Booking terms
Wine tours are charter services: they take a non-refundable 20% deposit and a 14-day cancellation notice. Send the outline through the quote request form and one of our tour specialists will come back with a written itinerary and price.
